Michael Owen is a dynamic speaker who has inspired audiences ranging from intimate gatherings to massive crowds of 5,000. His core message, "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional," is more than just a phrase—it’s a personal mantra he developed in childhood and has lived by ever since.

Michael’s journey is one of resilience, grit, and triumph over adversity. Before the age of 12, he endured over a dozen kidney surgeries. From ages 10 to 15, he suffered years of physical abuse at the hands of multiple father figures. In his late twenties, he battled depression, gaining and losing over 100 pounds in the process. Yet, through these challenges, he developed an unbreakable mindset, created systems that allowed him to not just survive—but thrive and coached thousands of others to do the same.

A testament to his tenacity, Michael has completed over a dozen full marathons, including the New York and Chicago Marathons (twice each), multiple ultramarathons, and the grueling Spartan Obstacle Course Races (Sprint, Super, and Beast), as well as Spartan Trail Runs. His endurance extends beyond athletics—he has led teams of up to 1,000 employees across multiple industries, including Tax, Fitness, Retail, Automotive Aftermarket, Real Estate, Government Payment Instruments, and Banking.
